Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and monthly closing processes. Process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with statutory deductions and filings. Prepare and file VAT returns in line with applicable tax regulations (KRA iTax). Maintain accurate financial records including invoices, receipts, expenses, and supplier transactions. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and payment tracking. Maintain accounting data in the primary accounting system. Support preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports. Handle general administrative duties including documentation, filing, and records management. Key Qualifications Hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles. CPA Part II or ACCA Level 2 minimum (CPA finalist or qualified preferred). Strong experience in payroll processing and VAT filing (KRA iTax required). Proven proficiency in accounting software (non-negotiable). Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial controls. High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in SME, professional services, or creative/design environments is an added advantage.
